Explore the timeless wisdom of Surah Al-Toba (Verses91-29) with a soulful Urdu translation by Nighat Hashmi. Known as the "Opening Chapter" of the Quran, this Surah encapsulates the essence of worship, guidance, and mercy, making it a cornerstone of every Muslim's prayer.91-92: There is no blame upon the weak, sick, or those who find nothing to spend, if they are sincere to Allah and His Messenger.93-94: Blame is only upon those who ask permission while being rich, preferring to stay with those who remain behind.95-96: They will swear to you by Allah when you return to them, that you would leave them alone.97-98: The bedouins are the worst in disbelief and hypocrisy, and least knowing of the limits Allah revealed.99-100: Among the bedouins are those who consider what they spend a loss and await calamity for you.101-102: Among those around you are hypocrites, and among the people of Medina are those persisting in hypocrisy.103-104: Take from their wealth a charity by which you purify and sanctify them.105-106: And say, "Work, for Allah will see your work, and [so will] His Messenger and the believers."107-108: And [there are] those who took for themselves a mosque for causing harm and disbelief.109-110: Then is he who founded his building upon fear of Allah and [His] pleasure better or he who founded his building upon an undermined precipice?111-112: Indeed, Allah has purchased from the believers their lives and their properties [in exchange] for that they will have Paradise.113-114: It is not for the Prophet and those who have believed to ask forgiveness for the polytheists, even if they were relatives.115-116: And Allah would not have misled a people after He has guided them until He makes clear to them what they should fear.117-118: Allah has already forgiven the Prophet and the emigrants and the helpers who followed him in the hour of difficulty.119-120: O you who have believed, fear Allah and be with those who are truthful.121-122: It was not proper for the people of Madinah and those surrounding them of the bedouins to remain behind the Messenger of Allah.123-124: O you who have believed, fight those disbelievers who are near you and let them find in you harshness.125-126: And when a surah is revealed, some of them say, "Which of you has this increased faith?"127-128: And when a surah is revealed, they look at one another [saying], "Does anyone see you?"129: Then if they turn away, say, "Sufficient for me is Allah; there is no deity except Him."  -------------------------

Known as the "Opening Chapter" of the Quran, this Surah encapsulates the essence of worship, guidance, and mercy, making it a cornerstone of every Muslim's prayer.61-62: Among them are those who abuse the Prophet and say, "He is [all] ear."63-64: They swear by Allah to you to satisfy you, but Allah and His Messenger are more worthy of satisfaction.65-66: Do not make excuses; you have disbelieved after your belief.67-68: The hypocrite men and hypocrite women are of one another; they enjoin what is wrong and forbid what is right.69-70: Like those before them, they enjoyed their portion, so they enjoyed their portion, and their end was like theirs.71-72: The believing men and believing women are allies of one another; they enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong.73-74: O Prophet, strive against the disbelievers and the hypocrites and be harsh upon them.75-76: And among them are those who made a covenant with Allah that if He gave them from His bounty, they would surely spend in charity.77-78: So He penalized them with hypocrisy in their hearts until the day they would meet Him.79-80:Those who criticize the contributors among the believers concerning [their] charities and [criticize] those who find nothing [to spend] except their effort. 181-82: Those who were left behind rejoiced in their staying [at home] after [the departure of] the Messenger of Allah.83-84: And when you are about to go forth with them, say, "You will not go forth with me ever, nor fight with me any enemy."85-86: And never offer prayer over any of them who has died and do not stand at his grave.87-88: They were pleased to remain with those who stay behind, and their hearts were sealed over, so they do not understand.89-90: But the Messenger and those who believed with him strove with their wealth and their lives, and those will have [all that is] good.  -------------------------
